There are not many online communities of people in Orange County who are actively helping each other to find jobs.

One of those sites is OCJobTalk, a site that is designed around the premise that networking  is the single most effective way to land a new or better job.

If you have not been to OCJobTalk, check it out.

It is a small group of very talented and interesting people, mostly living in Orange County, who use the site to post opportunities they have or match themselves with jobs posted.

There are currently 425 members after a year of existence and no marketing or advertising except word-of-mouth (mostly on Twitter).

If you would like to follow OCJobTalk on Twitter, check out @ocjobtalk.

Justin Moore-Brown (@bigheadasian on Twitter and a principal at MoboMedia) is the Co-Founder, along with me.  Justin also designed the site, which is based on a Ning platform.
